Book Review: Draw What You Love: The Art of Simone Grünewald
This is the second artbook from Simone Grünewald published by 3dtotal Publishing. The first was Sketch Every Day: 100+ simple drawing exercises from Simone Grünewald.
This book is a 184-page hardcover and can be considered a sequel to the first book.
The book is packed with even more tips, step-by-step tutorials and advice. Simone Grünewald shares more on how she makes a living through art, how to price art, handle licensing, and develop networks. There are also interviews with other artists on career advice.
The bulk of the book consists of instructional tips and techniques on creating character designs, backgrounds and lighting. There's also a section on creating digital art with Photoshop and Procreate.
This is an insightful and inspiring book for beginner artists and fans of Simone Grünewald. Highly recommended.

Hi Parka, I've been following
Hi Parka, I've been following your reviews for a few years and they're always super helpful and comprehensive! Since you've mentioned Simone has published two books, I was wondering which one you would recommend or if you think it would be important to have both? I've had a brief look at both and they seem to cover similar topics, but I imagine the tips they cover are different. Thanks!

@Sophie
They cover similar topics but the content is not duplicated. You can get the first one too, and see if you like it enough to get the 2nd one in the future.
Hi Teoh, thank you so much
